Members of the Green Ecologist Party promise modern product testing labs at each of the agricultural markets of Chisinau, IPN reports.
In a news conference held at the Central Market of Chisinau, the Greens’ candidate for the mayoralty of Chisinau municipality Anatolie Prohnitski said the party’s electoral program stipulates that the residents of the municipality must benefit from services of a high quality and will have access to safe products.
According to Anatolie Prohnitski, some of the products sold at the market are unsafe because they contain a high level of nitrates, but the quality certificates do not show this. The markets should be outfitted with modern labs that will enable to correctly determine the quality of products. The sale of unsafe products must be banned.
Anatolie Prohnitski considers the administration of the markets must sign contracts with the sellers so that both of the sides assume responsibility.
