Entrepreneurs can access non-repayable funding of up to 2 million lei for business development, IPN reports.
The program has a total budget of 115.5 million lei, covered by the Government of Moldova and the World Bank, and supports up to 80% of the investments needed for implementing engineering and IT solutions, product certification, marketing consulting, and intellectual property protection.
Applications for funding are now being accepted. According to authorities, the program aims to provide entrepreneurs with the opportunity to improve their competitiveness and expand into new markets. Beneficiaries will also be able to participate in training sessions on management, digitalization, and logistics.
The program for increasing the competitiveness of local producers and integrating them into value chains was launched by ODA and UIPAC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization. The program is also supported by the "Strong Enterprises and Communities for Moldova" project, funded by the governments of Germany and Switzerland.
