Govt. recalls 7 ambassadors

The Moldovan Government recalled seven ambassadors on Thursday. Two of them have been appointed in other countries, Info-Prim Neo reports. Lidia Gutu, Moldova's ambassador to Romania, Montenegro and Serbia, based in Bucharest, was recalled and appointed as an ambassador to Bulgaria. She will replace Veaceslav Madan, who was recalled. Valeriu Bobutac has been recalled from Hungary and also in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Croatia, at the Holy See and at the Danube Commission, based in Budapest. He has been appointed as an ambassador to Belarus and as a permanent representative about the bodies of the Community of Independent States, based in Minsk. Ivan Filimon has been recalled from that position. Natalia Gherman has been recalled from her position of an ambassador in Sweden, Finland and Norway, based in Stockholm. Igor Corman has been recalled from Germany and Denmark, based in Berlin. Iulian Grigorita has been recalled from the position of general consul for the German lands: Hessen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Bayern, Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland and Thuringen, quartered in Frankfurt on Main. Sergiu Stati, the political advisor of the Moldovan President, who was to become a parliamentarian on the Communists' list, has been appointed as Moldova's ambassador to Turkey.
