The Government’s priorities for 100 days, presented by Prime Minister Iurie Leanca at the start of June, are achievable, former Prime Minister Vlad Filat said in a TV program. According to him, most of these objectives represent the completion of initiated projects, while others are aimed at ensuring good organization of work, IPN reports.

“These objectives are not Iurie Leanca’s objectives, but the Government’s. This means that every minister must work maybe harder than ever,” stated Vlad Filat, underlining that the objectives cover the period until the end of 2014 too.

“The people’s expectations are high. This means we must work hard, speed up reforms and take greater care of the people,” said the leader of the PLDM.

He also said that the program of the Leanca Government is a logical continuation of the previous governments. The previous executive managed to obtain an economic growth of about 14% in 2009-2012, which is an accomplishment. “In the first three months of this year, the GDP growth was 3.5%. The growth is projected to be 4.5% at this yearend,” said Vlad Filat.

As to the Government’s objective to repair the roads, Vlad Filat reiterated that the objectives are achievable even if 134 km of roads will have to be repaired during 100 days.
