The Government will inform the deputies about the end-June talks with the Russian Concern “Gazprom”, as well as about the actions to be undertaken for diminishing the price increase related impact on the population and the Moldovan economy.
The MP Dumitru Braghis has solicited information in the Parliament, emphasizing the major impact of this increase. “The deputies and the whole society deserve to know more about the talks held in Moscow and about the measures to be taken by the Government”, the MP said. He suggested that the prime-minister or other cabinet members should stand in front of the Parliament to give explanations.
The deputies decided to hear the representatives of the Government at the sitting of July 13.
According to the contract concluded at the end of last week with the Russian company, starting July 1 Moldova imports natural gas at a price of USD 110 per 1.000 cubic meters, in comparison with 110 in the first semester. The Government says that during negotiations it was managed to preserve the state assets, no property has been sold, neither a lower quota of the state in the Moldovan energetic sector has been accepted.
