Government has resigned

The Government resigned on Monday, December 27. Minister of State Victor Bodiu said the decision was taken in accordance with Article 103 of the Constitution and Article 6 of the Law on the Government and the Parliament’s Regulations following the validation of the elections, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The draft decision on the Government’s resignation is to be presented in Parliament on December 28, when the new legislative body will hold its first sitting.
Until the new executive is formed, the present Government will continue to administer the public affairs, will ensure security and public order and will intervene in case of natural disasters and other emergencies.
