The Government submitted again to the Constitutional Court its decision on the necessity of establishing the constitutionality of the Shor Party. The document was published on the Court’s website, IPN reports.

The decision was remitted to the Court against following its publication in the Official Gazette. Earlier, the Constitutional Court sent back the application by which it is requested to determine the constitutionality of the Shor Party because the relevant Government decision hadn’t been published in the Official Gazette.

The Cabinet
on Wednesday endorsed a draft decision by which the Ministry of Justice suggests determining the constitutionality of the Shor Party. According to Minister of Justice Sergiu Litvinenco, the application contains sufficient arguments showing that the party by its activities so far acted against the rule of law principles and endangers Moldova’s sovereignty and independence.

The Shor Party described the Ministry of Justice’s initiative as “one more serious abuse on the part of the PAS government“.
