The modernization of education and medical institutions, maintenance of buildings and water pipelines and different measures to socially protect elderly people and persons with disabilities will be financed with the second tranche of the program of country reunification activities for this year, IPN reports.
Special attention within the second tranche approved by the Government on September 17 will be paid to the initiatives aimed at supporting the education institutions and at building and rehabilitating street lighting systems in the settlements of the Security Zone.
The program of country reunification activities was launched in 2011. Initially, there were allocated by 10 million lei a year. Last year, the sum was raised to 15 million lei. A number of 170 projects were initiated within the program in the period between 2011 and 2014.
