Ghimpu will seek dismissal of President Timofti if PDM ministers are discharged

The Liberal Party head Mihai Ghimpu said that he will seek the dismissal of Nicolae Timofti if the head of state accepts Vlad Filat’s proposal to fire the ministers of the PDM, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Ghimpu, the PL will also demand dismissing the President if he allows this crisis to last long as the Europeans may refuse to support Moldova in continuation. Mihai Ghimpu said that he wants Moldova to develop based on laws and democracy, not on positions, money and power. “My goal, and the goal of the PL, is not to push Moldova towards early elections, but to save the alliance and to achieve the European integration objective,” stated Mihai Ghimpu. Prime Minister Vlad Filat was dismissed by the votes of the Communists, Democrats and unaffiliated MPs, including the group of Socialists.
