The chairman of the Liberal Party (PL) Mihai Ghimpu considers the insistence at which the civic platform “Dignity and Truth” prepares to mount a protest in the Great National Assembly Square on June 7, when the PL planned to have a meeting with the voters there, is not accidental .Ghimpu reacted thus to a message written by businessman Viorel Topa on a social networking site, by which the latter expressed his disapproval of the event scheduled by the PL for June 7, IPN reports.
“This is the proof that the thieves-oligarchs Viorel and Victor Topa, who were convicted, are behind the platform “Dignity and Truth”! Who does not believe should find out who their lawyers are. I would ask those who shout that the PL opposes the protest – who takes part in the local elections – the platform “Dignity and Truth” or the PL? Who should stage events in the central square of Chisinau one week before the elections - “Dignity and Truth” or the PL? Who is to defend the capital city from the red-Russian invasion - “Dignity and Truth” or the PL? Who do you want to become mayor of Chisinau - Dorin Chirtoaca or Zinaida Grecheanyi?” Ghimpu wrote on Facebook.
He also asks what kind of patriots are those who thwart the PL’s meeting, or there are no other places where to stage protests.
The Liberal leader noted that some should be more attentive or will again hit their head against the wall erected not by three oligarchs, but by five already. “They know how to manipulate the people when it is about billions of lei. A proof is the alliance of the PLDM and PDM with the PCRM”,” wrote Ghimpu.
The media reported that there are businessmen Victor and Viorel Topa behind the civic platform “Dignity and Truth”. Representatives of the platform denied this assertion.
