Gas stations hike prices 7% for fuel

The forecasts of the petroleum importers regarding the possible increase of oil became true on Wednesday morning, July 19, when numerous stations displayed new prices, increased by 7%. Among these stations are those of the companies „Petrom-Moldova” and „Lukoil”. Sources from the Marketing Department of „Petrom-Moldova” company announced that the increase operated by them was due to the significant increase in price for oil on the international market. Thus, this morning, the price per one A95 liter increased by 85 bani and costs, at the moment, 12.85 lei, one liter of TOP Premium 99+ increased by MDL 1, the diesel oil – By 30 bani, sold at the price of 10.7 lei, and the rest of the fuels increased by 80 bani. The representatives of „Rompetrol-Moldova” reported that the new prices will be announced on Thursday morning, and the price increase will be around 7-7.5% for gasoline and 3% for diesel oil. The representative of the Petrol Importers Union “Importcompetrol”, Vladimir Egorov, announced that the new prices will be presented on Wednesday at 18.00. Therefore, one liter of A-95 gasoline will be sold at the price of 12.8 lei, A-92 will cost 12.4 lei, A-90 – 12.1 lei, and diesel oil – 10.7 lei. According to Egorov, the price for gasoline will increase by 7%, and diesel oil – by 3%. Fuel importers note that they implement a precautious price policy, and the new price changes do not totally mirror the international increase.
