Fuel prices decrease for the second week in a row. The National Agency for Energy Regulation explained that the decline is due to a favorable international context. Platts quotations for petroleum products saw moderate decreases in the last two weeks, of about 4 percent for gasoline and 8 percent for diesel fuel, IPN reports.
Over the past two weeks, the price of gasoline in the Republic of Moldova decreased by 0.31 lei/liter, and that of diesel by 0.62 lei/liter.
For this weekend and for Monday, February 10, a 0.01 lei/liter reduction in the price of gasoline and a 0.02 lei/liter reduction in the price of diesel fuel were announced. Respectively, a liter of gasoline will be sold for at most 24.48 lei, while a liter of diesel fuel for not more than 21.09 lei.
