After the wave of rises, fuel prices will decline. The price of gasoline “95” will be by 0.17 lei/liter lower, while of diesel fuel by 0.48 lei lower. This way, the price ceilings of gasoline and diesel fuel for the next three days will be 26.98 lei/liter and, respectively, 26.80 lei/liter, IPN reports.
The National Agency for Energy Regulation said the international Brent crude oil quotations and Platts quotations for oil derivatives have slightly declined. Consequently, the retail prices of gasoline and diesel fuel will also follow a downward trend.
At end-March, the diesel fuel cost more than gasoline “95” – 27.25 lei as against 27.17 lei a liter. For comparison, a liter of gasoline “95” at the start of last September was 20.23 lei, while a liter of diesel fuel was 16.42 lei.
