Viorel Frunză became the new coach of the Latvian team Ventspils. The team is directed by the former Dacia Chisinau manager Adlan Shishkhanov, IPN reports.
”I know Viorel as he played and trained under my direction. He is a maximalist, as I am. I’m convinced that the results will become better,” Ventspils manager Adlan Shishkhanov told the press in Latvia.
In his career, Viorel Frunză, 40, also trained Academia, Dacia, Dinamo-Auto and Știința Miroslav of the third league of Romania.
