The national football team of Moldova in the evening of June 9 plays away an exhibition match against Luxemburg, before the June 14 encounter with Liechtenstein, IPN reports.

Moldova manager Alexandru Curteian will be unable to use a number of important players, including Artur Ionita and Victor Golovatenko, who were sidelined by injuries. Given their absence, Alexei Coshelev, Eugen Zasavitski, Eugen Cociuc and Nicolae Milinceanu could make their debut for the national team.

“I’m very glad I was summoned to the national team. I have waited to make my debut for it for a long time,” Eugen Cociuc stated for IPN.

The game between Luxemburg and Moldova starts at 8pm, Moldova’s time. It will be controlled by a team of referees from Germany. Luxemburg and Moldova have met three times so far. Two matches ended in a draw, while the third was won by Moldova.
