Four parliamentary committee chairpersons are replaced

Four parliamentary committees have new chairpersons. These are deputies of the Socialist Party and the Democratic Party, who are coming to replace the MPs from the ACUM Bloc groups. The changes to the composition of permanent parliamentary committees were voted on Friday, November 29, at the legislative plenary, IPN reports.

According to the Parliament Decision, Vladimir Golovatiuc from the PSRM group, who held the position of chairman of the Public Finance Control Committee, was elected to the position of chairman of the Economy, Budget and Finance Committee, a position previously held by Igor Munteanu from the ACUM, DA Platform group. He became chairman of the Public Finance Control Committee.

The chairmanship of the Legal Committee for Appointments and Immunities was entrusted to MP Vasile Bolea from the PSRM group. The chairman of the Committee, Sergiu Litvinenco, from PAS group, ACUM, had resigned earlier.

The PDM MP Alexandru Jizdan was appointed chairman of the National Security, Defense and Public Order Committee. He comes in the stead of the MP of ACUM, DA Platform group, Chiril Moţpan.

Foreign Policy and European Integration Committee will be led by the PDM deputy Violeta Ivanov, who replaces Iurie Reniță from ACUM, DA Platform group.

The position of chairman of the Environment and Regional Development Committee remained vacant for the time being, after the Șor Party group refused to take over the chairmanship.

The position of chairman of the other standing parliamentary committees remained unchanged.

The 101 Members of Parliament are working in 11 standing parliamentary committees.
