Three residents of Cantemir district were found guilty of violent acts of a sexual character, illegal confinement and illegal distribution of narcotic substances, IPN reports, quoting a communique of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The Cantemir Prosecutor’s Office established that in November 2013, the offenders lured four boys playing outside into a house. They blocked the door and forced the minors aged between 8 and 11 to drink alcohol. Afterward, they abused sexually the children and threatened them they will be beaten if they tell somebody what happened.
The case became known in several months, when one of the neighbors told the parents of the minors what he saw. The police searched the house where the children were abused and found narcotic substances there.
The offenders, aged between 19 and 23, were sentenced to 12, 16 and 18 years in jail. The court decision is not yet definitive.
