The employees of the Border Police wear gloves and masks and use disinfectants. Thermal scanners that detect high body temperatures are used at the Chisinau International Airport. Digital thermometers are used at the other frontier posts.

Thirteen persons tested negative for COVID-19 in Moldova so far, according to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
