The Central Election Commission (CEC) will transmit the list of Moldovan private individuals who donated money to the State Tax Service for determining the sources of donations. After examining the reports on the funding of the campaign preceding the July 11 elections, according to the situation by June 25, the CEC determined that 42 donating persons didn’t have declared incomes or declared incomes larger than the donated sums, IPN reports.

In the July 6 meeting, CEC president Dorin Cimil said that after examining election contenders’ reports on incomes and costs in the election campaign, the Commission warned the Political Party “Noi”, the People Power Party and the Working People’s Party about the necessity of meeting the time limit for presenting reports on election campaign funding.

The CEC also warned again the Working People’s Party for the non-presentation of the financial report for the period until June 18 and obliged the party to submit it within 24 hours or to inform the Commission about the absence of incomes and costs in the reporting period.

The election contenders present weekly reports on campaign funding each Friday. The reports are posted on the official website of the CEC.
