The persons who hold the posts of President, Parliament Speaker and Prime Minister will not benefit from state guard after the completion of their duties. A draft law to this effect was given a first reading by Parliament, IPN reports.
Under the bill, the beneficiaries of state protection can refuse the provided protection or guard by writing an application to inform about this, except for the periods when states of emergency, siege or war are declared or when there is a danger or information about the organization of actions that endanger their life, physical integrity, freedom of action and heath.
The bill also proposes adjusting notions of the Law on the State Guard and Protection Service and adding new provisions aimed at improving the process of training personnel of the Service in accordance with the Labor Code norms. The number of vice directors of the Service will be raised by one unit.
The draft law is to be given a final reading.
