The electoral bloc NOW and the Party of Socialists should reach an agreement as to a possible coalition so as to remove the current ruling party, said activist Andrei Donică, who ran in the parliamentary elections on behalf of the Professionals’ Movement “Speranța-Nadejda”. At the same time, pediatrician Mihai Stratulat, who ran on behalf of the Democratic Party, said neither the Party of Socialists, not the bloc NOW are able to take over and govern, IPN reports.

Andrei Donică wondered why the bloc ACUM and the PSRM do not do what they promised in the election campaign – to change the regime. According to him, the two entities should form a coalition so as to remove the Democratic Party from power and could then organize snap parliamentary elections under the proportional representation system.

Mihai Stratulat said the two forces do not have enough people who could take over, form a government and rule. “That’s why they will choose to form the opposition and to continue to protest during another four years. Until now they protested on the street, where it rains and snow. Now they will do it in Parliament, where it is warm and fine,” Mihai Stratulat stated in the program “Emphasis on today” on TVR Moldova channel.

Boris Volosatyi, former independent candidate, noted things concerning the formation of a coalition will become clearer in several days. A parliamentary majority could will be created with the assistance of those who entered Parliament not on party lists, but in single-member constituencies. “To my mind, the European course is a way out for Moldova, which can be promoted through a gate that is actually open – the coming closer to Romania,” he stated.

According to Boris Volosatyi, the MPs should form a parliamentary majority that would guarantee Moldova’s development.
