Foreign exchange reserves increased by USD 33 mln in November

The foreign currency reserves of the state were increased by almost USD 33 mln in November and topped USD 700 mln, amounting to over USD 707 mln, the National Bank of Moldova reports. According to the officials from the central bank, the foreign exchange reserves might climb to USD 750 mln in December. Traditionally, the currency reserves are held in deposits – USD 397.26 mln and in securities – USD 309.75 mln. Although the foreign exchange reserves of the state reached a record level, the insurance level of some imports is relatively constant – almost three months of import.
