Five candidates for Chisinau Mayor have been registered

The Chisinau District Election Council registered on Friday, April 13, the first five candidates for the mayor of the capital. The Council’s chairman Ion Cretu told Info-Prim Neo that the first was registered Veaceslav Iordan, representing the Party of Communists, the second – Ion Mereuta, the candidate of the Humanist Party of Moldova, followed by Leonid Bujor, the candidate of the “Moldova Noastra” Alliance, Vladimir Filat, candidate of the Democratic Party, and Dorin Chirtoaca, of the Liberal Party. The Chisinau District Election Council had its first meeting on Friday. The electoral competitors can submit the necessary documents every day (except holidays), between 9.00am and 6.00pm. The lunch time is set at 1.00pm-2.00mp. The office of the Chisinau District Election Council is in the premises of the Chisinau City Hall. Other persons who announced their willingnes to run for Chisinau mayor are Eduard Musuc (PSD), Corneliu Ciurea (PSL), Vitalia Pavlicenco (PNL) and Zinaida Zorin (Conservatory Party).
