The only flight that connects Moldova and Poland has been restored by the Polish company LOT Polish Airlines. In a press release, the airline says the first LOT aircraft took off on the first days of the year from Chisinau to numerous destinations all over the world, IPN reports.

The first LOT plane from Warsaw to Chisinau performed the inaugural flight on January 2. According to the Polish operator, the resumed LOT Warsaw – Chisinau flight is the only direct connection between the Republic of Moldova and Poland. The restoration of this service offers the passengers access to almost 60 destinations from the Chopin Airport in Warsaw, such as Chicago, New York, Toronto, Stockholm, Vilnius, Moscow, Copenhagen, Brielle’s, London, Amsterdam, Geneva, Dusseldorf or Hamburg.

“We are delighted to wish the passengers who travel from Chisinau on board LOT planes good arrival. The resumed LOT Warsaw – Chisinau flight offers convenient transfers at the Warsaw Airport not only to the current clients of LOT, but also to those who didn’t yet travel with our airline,” said LOT Polish Airlines CEO Marcin Celejewski.

LOT flies to Chisinau with modern Bombardier Q400 aircrafts four times a week. Take off is scheduled at 14:45 Mondays and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Saturdays departures from Chisinau are scheduled at 17:55. From summer, LOT will operate flights to Chisinau daily.

Tickets for flights to new destinations in Europe and the whole world are already available at www.lot.com, through the mobile application, through the LOT Contact Center and other sale ways.
