A fire started in an apartment situated on the ninth floor of an apartment building in Chisinau on Tuesday morning. The firefighters intervened with four fire engines and a sliding ladder.
Press office of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Liliana Pușcașu said that all the persons living in two apartments from the tenth floor were evacuated.
The rescuers established that the flames engulfed the apartment’s balcony. The fire was localized in about 15 minutes and was then fully put out.
No one was hurt in the fire.
