The head of the public organization “Moldova Mea” Feodor Ghelici has warned the MPs who will not support or will insult Igor Dodon during his presidency. He issued the warnings in a news conference at IPN on November 21.
“It is for the first time in the last 20 years that the President was elected by the people. I warn the MPs who will dare not to support President Igor Dodon and to insult him that we will not allow them to. I will personally drive a tank to the Parliament Building. Before entering the building, the MPs will have to bow before and kiss the President’s hand and to get his blessing because Dodon is the President elected by the whole nation. We will not allow Parliament to place obstacles in the path of Igor Dodon during his tenure. The MPs must listen and do what the President asks them to because he is the embodiment of the people,” stated Ghelici.
The head of “Moldova Mea” also said that he and his supporters will surround Parliament on the day the Head of State will be inaugurated. “I declare publicly that together with my supporters and with those who voted Igor Dodon, we will not allow hampering the inauguration of Dodon as President. If need be, we will all come and surround the Parliament Building,” he stated.
In the news conference, Feodor Ghelici addressed a message to Dodon’s challenger Maia Sandu. “I call on Maia Sandu to accept her defeat and to shake hands with Igor Dodon and not to take the children to the streets to protest. She should take care of her personal life and should subdue her aggression,” he stated.
The association’s head also said that he intends to sue the chairman of the Liberal Party Mihai Ghmpu for his statements insulting Igor Dodon.
