The five school combines managed by the Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport will be subject to a financial audit by the Court of Auditors. According to the municipality, the goal is to determine the real state of affairs at these institutions that are responsible for the feeding of children, IPN reports.
In this connection, mayor general Ion Ceban said the Chisinau City Hall wants the examination process to be transparent and the final audit report to be of a high quality. The situation in the sector should be clear so as to decide how the catering process can be improved.
Currently, about 40,000 students of the schools of Chisinau are fed by the five combines.
The Chisinau City Hall has worked out a conception concerning alimentation at the education institutions of the capital city so as to review and modernize the existing system, logistics and procurement in kindergartens by externalizing the procedures for purchasing food products.
