A woman aged 69 from Mârzeşti village of Orhei district was robbed in her home by three individuals wearing balaclavas. According to the police, these stole 3,000 lei that the woman gave herself after the assaulters tied her and scared her, IPN reports.
Press officer of the Orhei Police Inspectorate Irina Burdujan said the robbers tied the woman’s hands. She got a scare, but was unhurt. The stolen money was the only money she had in her house.
When the thieves left, the woman phoned her son and this called the police.
An inquiry is under way to establish all the circumstances of the robbery.
