The expulsion of the seven Turkish citizens for the reason that they allegedly had links with an Islamic group generates many questions. Furthermore, the people wonder what goal is being pursued. The issue was developed in the talk show “Key issue” on NTV Moldova channel, IPN reports.

Politologist Ernest Vardanean wondered how far someone can go and take part in such a dirty campaign and open foreign political game with the violation of the law. “Why did the administration of the state, represented by the Security and Intelligence Service and other bodies, such as the Parliament, decide to join this game?” asked the politologist. Enest Vardanean said he does not have an answer to this question given the witnessed brutality and the nervous reactions of the foreign partners inclusively.

According to him, earlier the Turkish authorities requested the Moldovan authorities to close the network of “Orizont” lyceums and later the given education institutions in Moldova started to work under the guarantees of the U.S. Embassy and the Embassy of Germany in Chișinău. By expelling the teachers from these lyceums, the ruling party showed its disrespect for the U.S. and Germany.

Journalist Valery Demidetskii said he was surprised at the fact that the special services didn’t explain their actions. The fact that the SIS didn’t explain its actions led to the appearance of different versions. The Service’s actions would have been clear if the Turkish citizens had been detained and simply obliged to leave the county and go where they wanted, not yet expelled to Turkey.

On September 6, seven foreign citizens, among who principals and teachers of “ Orizont” Lyceum, were declared undesirable over alleged links to an Islamic group and expelled from Moldova. The Security and Intelligence Service said the decisions were taken in a move to ensure national security.
