Explosives, unearthed in 3 districts

Sappers from Criuleni, Dubasari and Anenii Noi were called on July 13 to track ammunitions.   On the Raut river, between the villages of Ohrincea and Ustia, Criuleni district, a man discovered 3 anti-tank mines “TM-62", made in 1962, Info-Prim Neo learns from the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service. The man was swimming in a pond. In Dorotcaia village of Dubasari district, a local found an artillery missile dating from the World War II. The ammunitions were neutralized by the sappers of the Moldovan Army. Another case happened in Speia village of Anenii Noi district, in the forest near the village, where a mortar bomb and an unidentified explosive were found. The ammunitions are permanently watched, the Emergencies Service specifies. 75 cases of unearthing ammunitions have been certified this year, as 180 missiles were found.
