Exhibition of painter Olga Pavlova organized at OSCE in Chisinau

The exhibition of the painter Olga Pavlova was held on Thursday, June 8, at the headquarters of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Chisinau. The exhibition was composed of 50 oil and aquarelle paintings.
Superior professor of the Decorative Art Department, doctor in pedagogy, Ala Uvarova, said that the exhibited works display „the spiritual feelings of the world, musicality and energy that the plastic artist tried to transmit to those watching the works.”
The works of Olga Pavlova are better known abroad, than in Moldova. She is also promoting via Internet the works of Moldovan painters and also the author of an international web site „Art People”, where the interests of 165 painters from 10 countries, including RM, meet, aiming to set cultural relations and mutual promoting of plastic art.
The painter is the member of the Painters’ Union of Great Britain, coordinator of the International Painters’ Union, and winner of many prizes for painting in Hungary, Germany, and SUA etc.
OSCE representative Antonia de Meo said at the launching ceremony of the exhibition that OSCE headquarters is the second home for the mission’s members, that’s why exhibition of the works of Moldovan painters aims to create a cozy environment.
OSCE Mission organizes such exhibitions the second year alrady. At the beginning – due to the fact that certain members of the mission were interested personally in art, and than this thing became a tradition. At the same time, unofficially, the mission tries to promote interests of painters and also to sell them; the works’ pricelist is also displayed on the halls of the headquarters.
The exhibition of painter Olga Pavlova is the fourth this year, following to be organized other 6 exhibitions along the year. Over the past 2 years, about 25 such exhibitions were organized at OSCE headquarters in Chisinau.
