Former head of state Nicolae Timofti urges all the Moldovan citizens to go out to vote on November 3 and choose a prosperous future for the country by supporting Maia Sandu, IPN reports.
In a video posted on the Facebook page of "Moldova Europeană” (“European Moldova”), Nicolae Timofti, in his capacity as ex-President and as a citizen of the country, urges the Moldovans to be a united and ensure the continuation of the European course.
"Being an internationally recognized and appreciated President, positioning the Republic of Moldova alongside European countries, is not an easy thing, but Maia Sandu managed to do this. In fact, only with a European President can we continue to develop and live safely. On November 3, I will confirm by vote that Maia Sandu is the President of the Republic of Moldova and I urge you to vote for a prosperous future here, at home," said the former head of state.
Nicolae Timofti was the fourth President of the Republic of Moldova and held office in 2012-2016.
