Parliament will consider Eugen Carpov's candidacy for the position of member of the Board of Directors of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER). The decision was approved by the legislature’s commission on economy, budget and finance following the held competition. Thus, Eugen Carpov could be named NAER director for a new term, IPN reports.
The Parliament’s Communication and Public Relations Department said that Eugen Carpov in the interview stage obtained the highest score out of the 13 candidates.
Eugen Carpov is a bachelor of law and since 2019 has held the position of NAER director.
The Board of Directors of the National Agency for Energy Regulation consists of five directors. According to the legislation, they are appointed by Parliament on the basis of a competition.
