Eugen Carpov was appointed member of the Board of Directors of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER). A draft decision to this effect was adopted on Thursday by Parliament. The new six-year term begins on March 6, IPN reports.
The Board of Directors of the NAER is made up of five directors who are appointed by Parliament on the basis of a competition. Eugen Carpov obtained the highest score in the competition for the position, organized by the Parliament's committee on economy, budget and finance.
He has a degree in law and since 2019 has held the position of NAER director.
