EU Commissioner Cecilia Malmström's program of visit to Chisinau

The press service of Prime Minister Vlad Filat has announced the program of the working visit of European Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmström to Moldova. The European official is expected to come to Chisinau on January 24, Info-Prim Neo reports. Cecilia Malmström will meet with Vlad Filat at 16.00 to present the Plan of Action on the Liberalization of the Visa Regime between the European Union and Moldova. Only the official press will have access to the event. At 16.50, the Premier and EU Commissioner will give a news conference at the Government Building. The same day, Cecilia Malmström will have a meeting with Minister of the Interior Alexei Roibu. The next day, the European Commissioner and the Premier will take part in the official opening of an international conference themed “Eastern Partners' Contribution to the Stockholm Program: synergies for improving mobility and strengthening security”. Afterward, Cecilia Malmström will meet with Head of Parliament and Acting President of Moldova Marian Lupu. On January 25, the EU Commissioner will also visit the Center for Combating Trafficking in Persons, the Temporary Placement Center for Foreigner, and the consular section of the Romanian Embassy.
