The 16-year-old boy who escaped from number 10 Goian Penitentiary, where he was serving his sentence for theft, was detained. The teenager was detained on the same day on the Anenii Noi-Căușeni route.
According to the National Penitentiary Administration, the boy was detained by Căușeni Police Inspectorate employees, with the help of Bender Penitentiary officials. The inmate did not physically resist arrest.
For the committed crime, he may be further convicted for escaping from detention facilities. The provided sentence for this crime is up to three years in prison.
