Entrepreneurs with sales revenue of over 500,000 lei will be obliged to install cashless payment terminals by July 1, 2026. This is provided in a draft law that was given a second reading by Parliament, IPN reports.
The bill also provides for the extension of the validity period of the sanitary permit, from 1 to 3 years, regardless of whether the products are imported or local. Some restrictions on wholesale trade will be lifted. wholesale trade will also be allowed in spaces smaller than 400 m² and, respectively, the costs incurred by traders will be lower.
Other changes concern outdoor advertising. Posters with an area of less than 3 square meters will no longer need authorization. In the case of the others, the validity period of permits will be extended from 1 to 5 years.
