Moldovan entrepreneurs can start a business anywhere in the world, but they choose to stay in their homeland. With this in mind, Aliona Butacova, the founder of the eco-agro tourism complex Hill&Valley, located just 30 minutes from Chișinău, began sharing her success story.

In a short interview, Butacova talked about her first experience in Europe and her expectations from the European Union.

"My first trip to Europe was in 2008, to Prague, and I was deeply impressed by the order, cleanliness, and public transport that is always on time. From the European Union, I expect access to financing, security, and quality services that will improve our standard of living," said Butacova.

Speaking about Moldova's future, the entrepreneur expressed her desire to see "more tourists in the country" and added that she looks forward to the return of the diaspora.

The interview with Aliona Butacova is the first in a series of stories from Moldovan entrepreneurs aimed at involving the business community in supporting the referendum on European integration, which will take place on October 20, 2024.

This message is part of the information and electoral education campaign about Moldova's European integration.
