The Republic of Moldova, having a strong partner like the European Union, can advance quickly and safely on its European path, which would greatly help the citizens of our country escape poverty and worries. This statement belongs to Alexandru Guțu, the General Director of the German Diagnostic Center, a foreign-owned company that provides high-performance medical services in our country. The clinic, which offers the latest and most advanced medical services to the people, is ready to contribute to Moldova's development.

In a video interview conducted as part of an informational and electoral education campaign regarding Moldova's European integration, Alexandru Guțu spoke about the things that impressed him in Europe, as well as his expectations from the Union.

"I was impressed by the contrast between the prosperity and beauty in the EU and the poverty here. In Europe, people are free and diverse, while for us, the 1990s were full of worries and troubles. We are moving forward, but with such a strong partner like the European Union, we can move forward much faster and more securely. I expect the EU, as a reliable partner, to contribute to the country's development, and Moldova could offer the Union the Moldovan charm that is sometimes missing," stated Alexandru Guțu.

As for his vision of Moldova's future, Guțu says he wants to see "a prosperous and beautiful country, with well-established infrastructure, where all ethnicities live in harmony, where rights are respected, laws function well, state institutions take care of the state, and the private sector focuses on the country's development."

The interview with Alexandru Guțu is the fourth in a series of testimonies from Moldovan entrepreneurs, aimed at involving the business community in supporting the referendum for European integration, which will take place on October 20, 2024.

This message is part of the information and electoral education campaign about Moldova's European integration.
