Engines come to Dorotcaia

The 130th Technologic Machine Station (TMS) was inaugurated by President Vladimir Voronin today, August 2 in Dortcaia village, Dubasari raion. According to the press service of the Presidency, the TMS was inaugurated at the agricultural co-operative society “Dorotcaia-agro”. Vladimir Voronin mentioned about the importance of reinforcing agricultural plots, in order to re-launch and develop, on new grounds, the agricultural field and emphasized the advantages of co-operative societies both for the modernization and the fitting out process of the agricultural field, as well as reviving the Moldovan village, solving social problems in rural localities. The president mentioned that on January 1, 100 TMS were running in 2006 in Moldova, and another 30 were created this year. 20 more will be inaugurated until the end of the year. Solicited by Info-Prim Neo, the head of the Press Service of the Minister of Agriculture and Alimentation, Veniamin Balan declared that a new TMS is composed of 5 MTZ-82 tractors and a set of agricultural vehicles, estimated at MDL 1 mln 900 thousand. Dorotcaia village has over 600 ha of agricultural plots and rents other 3000 ha of agricultural plots.
