Weightlifter Elena Kylchik has won two medals at the World Weightlifting Cup in Rome where athletes can secure qualification for the Tokyo Olympics, IPN reports.
She finished second in snatch with the result of 126 kg and fourth in clean and jerk with 98 kg. She thus ranked second with her total result in the 87 kg weight class.
Earlier, Marin Robu won three medals in the 73 kg class. He won the snatch event with the result of 152 kg. He ranked second in clean and jerk after lifting 180 kg and second with the total result of 332 kg. Also, Moldovan weightlifter Tudor Ciobanu won bronze in clean and jerk after lifting 198 kg in the 96 kg class.
