The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) is set to review electricity rates next week. And despite Premier Energy and Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord asking for an upward revision, the draft decisions published by ANRE for consultation suggest the rates will drop, albeit only slightly.
Premier Energy asked for a tariff of 2.02 lei/kWh for the final consumers connected to high-voltage distribution networks, compared to 1.71 lei/kWh (without VAT) at present. ANRE proposes a tariff of 1.68 lei/kWh.
For the final consumers connected to medium-voltage distribution networks, the supplier requested a tariff of 2.23 lei/kWh, compared to the current tariff of 1.90 lei/kWh (without VAT). The Agency proposes 1.87 lei/kWh.
And for the final consumers connected to low-voltage distribution networks (household consumers), Premier Energy requested 2.77 lei/kWh, compared to 2.39 lei/kWh (without VAT) at present. ANRE proposes 2.34 lei/kWh.
The same with Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord. The supplier requested a tariff of 2.11 lei/kWh for the final consumers connected to medium-voltage distribution networks, compared to 1.97 lei/kWh (without VAT) at present. ANRE proposes 1.90 lei/kWh.
For the final consumers connected to low-voltage distribution networks (household consumers), the supplier requested a tariff of 3.01 lei/kWh, compared to 2.88 lei/kWh (without VAT) currently. ANRE proposes 2.84 lei/kWh.
The ANRE is slated to meet March 19, at 10:00 a.m.
Electricity tariffs were last adjusted in November 2023.
