Citizens who opted for postal voting must send their ballots for the runoff presidential election by Thursday evening, October 31, IPN reports.

"Fill in and submit the ballot paper as quickly as possible. It must arrive at the polling station for postal voting no later than 06:00 p.m. on the Thursday before election day," the Central Election Commission said.

At the same time, electors who voted by post, but did not receive confirmation by email of the receipt of the envelopes are urged to go to the nearest polling station.

For the October 20 election, 1,344 envelopes were received out of the 1,808 sent to citizens who asked to vote by post. In the runoff election, the citizens who did not vote in the October 20 election, but received the envelope with the electoral materials, all the 1,808, can also vote by post.

Postal voting is piloted in six states, namely the U.S., Canada, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, and Finland.
