At the parliamentary elections of February 24, 2019, the voters will receive two ballots and two more ballots if they want to take part in the national consultative referendum that will be held the same day.

The ballot for the elections in the national constituency are smoky gray in color, while those for the uninominal constituencies are violet. For the plebiscite, the ballots with the question “Do you want the number of MPs to be reduced from 101 to 61?” are pale yellow, while those with the question “Do you want the MPs to be recalled if these do not fulfil their duties?” are beige.

For the parliamentary elections and the referendum of February 24, the Central Election Commission decided to print 11 863 788 ballots.

The ballots are sent to the electoral office of the polling place two days before the election day at the latest, while to the polling places abroad three days before the election day at the latest. At most 5,000 ballots of each kind are issued to each polling place.

On the election day, the members of the electoral office of the polling place hand over the ballots to the voters in accordance with the register of voters on the presentation of the identity card. When receiving the ballots, the voters puts their signatures on the register against their name and a stamp showing that the person voted on that day is put on the document that is used to vote. The ballots will be marked by voters only in the polling booth for secret voting.

If the voter cannot fill out the ballot himself, this can seek help from a reliable person, but this should not be from among members of the electoral office of the polling place, representatives of electoral contenders and persons authorized to attend the electoral operations.

The elector applies the stamp “Voted” inside the circle in one rectangular of the ballot, which means voting for the corresponding electoral competitor. The circles in the other rectangles should remain clean. It is banned taking the ballot out of the polling place. An elector can vote for only one election contestant.

If the voter marked the ballot incorrectly, this can ask the electoral office of the polling place to annul this ballot and to issue him/her immediately with a new ballot, only once. The case will be mentioned in the proceedings on voting and in the voter rolls. The voter puts the ballot with the stamp “Voted” in the ballot box.
