Moldova won a new medal at the European Junior and U23 Weightlifting Championships held in Poland. Ecaterina Tretyakova finished third in snatch in the 69 kg weight class, IPN reports.
She scored the result of 91 kg. In clean and jerk, Tretyakova lifted 113 kg and ranked fourth. She occupied the fourth spot in the final rankings.
In U20, Tudor Ciobanu competed in the 85 kg class and finished fourth with a total of 338 kg.
Earlier, Daniel Lungu became U20 European vice champion in the 56 kg class.
