A new electronic service – “e-Application” - was launched by the State Tax Service on December 9, with the support of the state-run company “Fiscservinform”, IPN reports. The head of the State Main Tax Inspectorate Ion Prisacaru told a news conference that the new service optimizes the process of submitting applications for registering subdivisions of companies and for being registered as VAT taxpayers.
“The new service can be accessed at www.servicii.fisc.md by taxpayers that possess a digital signature. Those who do not have such signature can apply for it at one of the certification centers accredited in Moldova,” stated Ion Prisacaru.
So far the taxpayers had to travel to local tax inspectorates at least two times so as to submit paper applications and to then collect the certificate. Using the automated information system “e-Application”, they can do it online. This year the economic entities made 2,000 registrations as VAT taxpayers. There were also registered 10,056 subdivisions, while 12,360 subdivisions were struck off the register.
At the first stage, this service allows using two modules: “Online registration as VAT taxpayer” and “Online management of subdivisions”. Three more instruments are being worked out to additionally facilitate the interaction of taxpayers with the State Tax Service in the registration of licensed persons and payers of excises and in other areas, said the director of “Fiscservinform” Vitalie Coceban.
A new section is now available on fisc.md – “Online antechamber”, which enables private individuals and legal entities to discuss online different subjects of common interest with the administration of the State Tax Service.
The State Tax Service has launched about 30 electronic services intended for taxpayers.
