Drunken man eats bread with paint

A man, under the influence, ate for dinner bread with dye. Chisinau Emergency Service doctor-coordinator Eufalia Negreata told Info-Prim Neo, that the man, aged 57, being strongly drunk, prepared for himself a terrible dinner – bread with one liter of paint. He didn’t manage to finish his “strange feast”, when the Emergency ambulance came, called after by his relatives, which transported him to the “Sfanta Treime” hospital. Another man, aged 40, has been admitted to the same hospital, after he tried to commit suicide by consuming an overdose of medicine. Doctors succeeded to save his life. An unidentified man of about 50 and under the influence was found with general hypothermia, on the Zelinski Street. A young man, aged between 25 and 30 was found in alcoholic coma on the staircase of a living block on the Titulescu Street. Both men have been also hospitalised in “Sfanta Treime”. In the past 24 hours, the Emergency Service in the capital registered 700 calls.
