A man aged 23 was arrested on suspicion that he sold marijuana in northern Moldova following the confiscation of about 2 kilograms of marijuana during searches, IPN reports.
The Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases said the seized quantity of marijuana on the black market costs about 600,000 lei. The young man is from Ocnița district. He was apprehended in the act of selling drugs and was remanded in custody for 30 days.
Investigative measures are being taken to identity other persons involved in the scheme.
