A 23-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were detained for distributing drugs in the municipality of Chisinau. If found guilty, the suspects risk 7 to 15 years in prison, IPN reports.
The young people were couriers. They received the coordinates where drugs were placed in large quantities, of 1-2 kg, after which they picked them up and divided them into smaller doses for online stores, and also for end consumers.
The two persons, who earlier committed other violations of the law, were detained in Codru town and drugs were found on the young woman. During searches at suspects' homes, drugs to an estimated value of 150,000 lei were found and seized.
