The article forms part of IPN’s information campaign that presents biographical data, information about the incomes and property and professional experience of candidates for mayor general of the municipality of Chisinau.

Dragoș Galbur is contending for the post of mayor general of the municipality of Chisinau on behalf of the National Moldavian Party that he heads. He was born on May 7, 1988.

In 2006-2014, he studied general stomatology at “Nicolae Testemiţanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy. In 2012-2014, he studied for a master’s degree in criminal law and crime at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the Balti State University “Alecu Russo”. In 2017-2020, he studied for a master’s in business management at the University of Sheffield in England.

In 2007-2008, he worked as an accredited Red Cross rescuer. In 2011-2015, he worked at the Dental Clinic in Balti and at a private dental clinic in Chisinau. In 2015-2016, he headed the International Relations, European Integration and Foreign Assistance Department of the Ministry of Health. Between 2016 and 2017, he served as an adviser to the minister of health. Since 2017 until 2019, he held the post of medical adviser and marketing specialist at “St. Constantin” Hospital in Brasov, Romania. In 2019-2022, he worked at the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin as health and safety officer. From 2022 until present, he has worked for the public association CCF Moldova.

In March 2023, he registered the National Moldavian Party that has over 1,000 members, according to the Public Services Agency.

For last year, he declared over 659,000 lei salaries from CCF Moldova, three cards in three banks, in Moldova, Romania and Ireland, with 10,000 lei and €14,100 on them. He didn’t indicate any other incomes or property in his property and personal interests statement.

Dragoș Galbur’s electoral program centers on sustainable economic development, digitization and innovation, high-quality education, safety for citizens and animals, efficient public transport, decongestion and parking garages, consolidation of community mental health centers and others. He stated that he wants to turn the capital city into a space where innovation mingles with history.

As it was decided by draw, Dragoș Galbur of the National Moldavian Party will be next to No. 17 on the ballot.
